A Cabinet Maker for Madison's Historic Homes
Madison is one of Georgia's most celebrated antebellum towns, a National Register historic district full of preserved 19th-century homes, set in Morgan County along the I-20 corridor between Atlanta and Augusta, just north of Lake Oconee. It's a town where the architecture is the draw, and the homes here, historic and new alike, ask for cabinetry that respects them.
I'm Kyle Oliver, the founder and head craftsman behind Reviving Dawn. Historic homes are where furniture-grade cabinetry matters most. The rooms were never quite square, the ceiling heights are their own, and the original trim came from an era no factory reproduces. We measure in place and build to the home you actually have, solid hardwood faces and drawer boxes, dovetail and mortise-and-tenon joinery, finishes applied by hand, so new cabinetry looks like it has always belonged there.
What We Build for Madison Homes
Kitchen Cabinetry
Full custom kitchens for historic renovations and new construction, designed to fit the room and the period, with hardware and finishes chosen to match the home.
Vanities & Bathroom Cabinetry
Furniture-style vanities for primary baths and powder rooms, freestanding pieces that read like period furniture rather than a builder-grade box.
Built-Ins & Millwork
Library walls, window seats, banquettes, paneling, and architectural millwork that integrate with a historic home's existing trim and proportions.
Wet Bars & Entertaining Cabinetry
Integrated refrigeration, glass display, and beverage storage built for the way Madison homes entertain.
Built for Madison & Morgan County
We work throughout Madison's historic district and across Morgan County, from in-town landmark homes to new construction in the surrounding countryside, and we build for the nearby homes of Lake Oconee as well. Whatever the home, the standard is the same: cabinetry built like fine furniture, made to last.
Working with Madison Designers and Builders
Restoring and building in a historic town takes trade partners who respect the work. We're easy to work with because we understand how the trade operates: drawings reviewed promptly, specifications honored to the dimension, schedules respected, and clear communication when something on site changes. Designers and builders working in Madison and Morgan County: we'd like to talk.
