The Prince — Third Run Reservation

$9,800, delivered and installed anywhere in the United States. Solid black walnut, numbered and signed, built by hand in Watkinsville, Georgia. Delivered in February.

The first run of The Prince sold out in 37 minutes. This is the third run, and it is ten beds.

What is different about this run

White Glove delivery and installation is included in the price. No separate quote, no surprise number at the end, no matter where you are in the country.

I bring the bed to your bedroom and set it up wherever I can make the trip, and arrange White Glove delivery everywhere else. Picking up at the shop in Watkinsville is $8,800.

The Prince

Each bed is built from over 200 board feet of solid black walnut, with hand-lathed posts and brass bed bolt covers. I go through the walnut board by board and select the grain and figure myself, so the pattern flows across the whole piece.

No veneers and no shortcuts. Because every board is chosen by hand, no two beds will ever look identical. These are heirloom pieces, made to be handed down.

Two ways to pay

Either way the price includes delivery and installation. Bed numbers are assigned in the order reservations arrive, so the earlier you reserve, the lower your number.

Sizing and customization

Every size is the same price: king, California king, and queen. You are reserving a numbered spot here, not a size.

After you reserve I will email you personally to confirm your size, your delivery details, and anything you would like to change. Custom mattress height or under-rail height is available from $500. Just tell me when I reach out.

Delivery

February. I will get these out as quickly as I can without compromising the work, and I will keep you updated as your bed moves through the shop. If you have a deadline you are trying to hit, tell me and I will do my best to accommodate it.

Refunds

Your reservation is fully refundable until production begins on October 1. After that the walnut for your bed has been purchased and cut, so it becomes non-refundable.

Dimensions

Built with hardwood slats, so a box spring is not required unless you prefer a higher mattress height.

• Slat height: 11" — a 12" mattress sits at 23", a 14" mattress at 25", the standard range
• Floor to bottom of rail: 6 1/2" — clearance to slide storage underneath
• Headboard height: 68 3/4" at the top of the arc
• Front poster height: 74 1/4"
• Back poster height: 88"
