This is the first production run of the Riverborne, and it is ten beds. Every one before this was built one at a time, to order, at $8,800 plus delivery. Building ten as a batch is what makes this price possible.

The Riverborne

The Riverborne began with a black walnut tree that fell into a river. A client of mine recovered it, air-dried it with patience, and had it milled into boards, and those boards became the first bed in this design. A tree carried off by the water and brought back to purpose. That story lives in the grain of every one I build.

I hand-select each board and read the grain before I ever make a cut, arranging it so the figure carries cleanly across the frame and panels. The design is simple on purpose. It steps back and lets the walnut do the talking, which is only possible when the wood is chosen with care.

Built with old-world mortise and tenon joinery and supported by hardwood slats, then finished in a clear satin that lets the natural color come through. No veneers and no shortcuts. Because every board is chosen by hand, no two beds will ever look identical. Made to serve for generations.

Delivery is included

White Glove delivery and installation is in the price. No separate quote, no surprise number at the end, no matter where you are in the country. I bring the bed to your bedroom and set it up wherever I can make the trip, and arrange White Glove delivery everywhere else. Picking up at the shop in Watkinsville is $6,400.

Two payments — $7,400 total
$4,440 now, which is 60%, and the remaining $2,960 before your bed ships.

Either way the price includes delivery and installation. Bed numbers are assigned in the order reservations arrive, so the earlier you reserve, the lower your number.

Sizing and customization

Every size is the same price: king, California king, and queen. You are reserving a numbered spot here, not a size.

After you reserve I will email you personally to confirm your size, your delivery details, and anything you would like to change. Slat height can be adjusted to suit your mattress, and a custom under-rail height is available from $500. Just tell me when I reach out.

Delivery

February. All ten are built as one batch in my Watkinsville shop, and I will keep you updated as your bed moves through it. If you have a deadline you are trying to hit, tell me and I will do my best to accommodate it.

Your reservation

Each bed in this run is built to order, and the walnut is purchased against confirmed reservations, so your reservation is non-refundable. If your plans change, reach out and I will do what I can to help.
