Twelve beds, twelve deposits, thirty seven minutes. That is what happened when the first run of The Prince opened on August 2. I posted this bed expecting a quiet week, and instead I got the biggest response Reviving Dawn has ever had. It was enough that I am bringing on two craftsmen and building a second run this winter. Solid walnut four posters like this one usually sell for $9,000 to $12,500. The second run is $8,800, every size, which keeps it well under where this piece will sit long term. Numbered and signed, built as a batch in my Watkinsville shop.
Furniture as art.
Every bed in this run starts at the lumber stack, not the saw. I go through the walnut board by board, picking each one for its grain, its color, and the way it moves. Then I arrange those boards so the patterns flow across the whole bed, the way a painter works a canvas. No veneers, no shortcuts, solid black walnut and traditional joinery throughout. Every bed is numbered and signed, because that's what you do with art. This is a piece for your home first, and a bed second.

Wherever I can, I deliver your bed myself and set it up in your bedroom. White Glove Shipping across the U.S. is quoted individually based on where you are, and free pickup at the shop in Watkinsville is always on the table. An $880 deposit, 10%, holds your bed and your number. Forty percent is due August 10 when the run goes into production, and the balance is due before delivery.
